TICKLING BARN17 februari 2018 om 13:11 #697210Freaky 😀
Mark 1 turns out to fit ferry nicely.
If Mark1 runs just as fast as it is being built, may we wet our chest at the VCT 2018.
Or is this stone coal English?
17 februari 2018 om 21:04 #699925nah, it fits not really good.
still alot to do till it fits plug and play.
but in theorie it can run now. so lets see what the next weeks bring 🙂
17 februari 2018 om 23:52 #700858Awesome Marc 🙂 great to see it getting more and more mature! I’m happy to volunteer for a test ride on the vct!
18 februari 2018 om 12:38 #705637Well if this is your first engine blok, it is quit normal there are some fitting problems.
I have worked whit companies that spent years, to develop products until thay where optimal. and the devil is always in the details.
I wil perfom ritual for you. So next week wil be better 🙂
20 februari 2018 om 10:42 #709432thx to all 🙂 lets pray to God that it will work nicely at the end.
jesterday i finished the CAD from my own engine frame.
its just the first prototype, if everything works fine with the cutter tolerances i will ad the holes for the side cladding and the rest.
the bigger sheep metal parts will be made out of 2mm and the piece between it our of 3mm material.
and when everything fits great i will make one for me out of stainless steel 😀 no rost anymore

20 februari 2018 om 12:07 #709483Nice, I see the cuts in the front of the sub-frame to make sure the engine will always fit with the cluth and Kick-start mounted ?!
Stainless steel would be the best future to this sub-frame 😀 Also adjusting the rear suspension in differend position is a must 😎
TICKLING BARN20 februari 2018 om 18:50 #709706Stainless steel has one big problem. it breaks when the vibrations are too much.
so i think it looks great and works good, but not too long. so its more like an Show and shine option 🙂
the last thing to do now is to get a bit more room between case and crankshaft so that the gas flow is a bit better. sure it also works now without it but i will make clear that if i put a bigger zylinder on it with higher rpm that there is nothing which disturb me and the gas flow
20 februari 2018 om 20:44 #709757Totaly sexy.
21 februari 2018 om 15:20 #710897That’s one big block! What steps do you have to do before you can run it?
Hope the little vespa kick thing can turn the engine.
Welkom op ons forum!
Breng een bezoekje aan mijn Ciao project.21 februari 2018 om 16:33 #711090Wooww !! Love it !
i think you make this faster then sprocatti makes his engines :p
21 februari 2018 om 19:12 #711142@AA-T: next step is to make more space between crank and case. after that i think i can mount everything togehter.
the sub frame is on monday finished if im lucky.
and i think the sub frame isnt perfekt so i have to make some adjustments in the CAD and after that i will make another sub frame with the right measurements.
after that i can put the engine in it.
than i need to fit an exhaust on it, i think for the first run it will be the proma CC.
after that i think i can make the first start without the waterpump 🙂
1 month latest i think
21 februari 2018 om 21:55 #711229Looks like a plan 😀 Succes and made it happen, all the luck to Ya 😎
