@ AA-T : I’m sure Marc knows all about it.
Offcourse every machine tool has his own type of use but thats just a day testing and a good metal worker knows what to do to make it just ride.

TICKLING BARN@AA-T: ah jes i know what you mean, we call it in german “gegenlauf fräsen” and “gleichlauf Fräsen”.like Crullie said, in the most of times i know what im doing because im a industrial mechanical and learnd it. I didnt mean that i have to learn the hole milling prinzip, i just need to learn lets say what the machine likes and what she dont like 🙂
You know its a china Machine and not an industrial 10t heavy machine which is able to pull the hole 50mm cutter through steel 🙂 the machine is limeted first of all beacause its not the biggest and strongest so if it is at the end of makeable the machine starts to make noises or virbration which tell you here is the end hehe
i got some new professional cutter from a good friend and i will test them in an hour.
this should be a lot easyer to cut the aluminium 🙂
Edit: WAUUU the new Cutter is his money more than worth. goes through the Alu like a hot knife throgh butter. the full 22mm outer diameter and 15-20 deep in z achsle, without any problem.
there you see that there is a huge difference between a 12€ cutter to a 300€ cutter.
Good tools are half the work, I always say.
Nice finish.I make some of my tools myself.
But you can also use wood mills, if you don,t take too much off.
They are cheap, and you wil be surprised how wel they work in aluminium and brass.
And they come in shape,s with radius, 😀

the membran fits like a glove, now its time for the Cab adapter plate.
after that i will make the screw holes in the case and than its ready for assemble wuuhuu

This is an great idea,
maybe i call it Tesserakt based on the cube from Marvel movie Thor,
or it is Mjölnir ( Thors Hammer) hehe
But i think you got it best with Marc4… sounds really awesome, perhaps it should be named Marc1 because its the first Prototype and the next ones are called …2…3…4 like a serial number hehe
lets talk about it, maybe anyone gets a better name for it

so my Marc1 is going forward.
no worries, the frame is just for the first test run. after that i make a frame by my own.
the plan with the waterpump has to be changed. i made a part of the innerrotor new so that the belt can run on it. but later more to that.
