The radiator looks a lot better than I expected. Do you have enough room for your fork to go down?

Like i say in German, Auspuff bauen ist eine Kunst!
and i dont have the right tool to make the rounds perfect.and yes the Radiator has enough room.
I also will cut the front fender to make it deeper on the tire. give it a evil look grrr
next step is to cut the radiator off (cause i welded it with 4 points) and make a calbe tunnel under the fuel tank.

I told you. Just like I told you not to drive with the original clutch housing.
But I guess you have to find out the hard way.
I hope you not end up with a broken leg like Alex when it explode.9 april 2018 om 13:02 #770951i know that it is only the clutch with the 3 steps which explodes. but sure it can also happen with mine but im sirious my one wont explode at 90 :)it is already tested to 100km/h, sure this doesnt mean that this one is safe but i trust it 🙂
maybe anyone can offer me a nice one 😀i will try to get the frame and all other parts ready this week so i can sandblast everything.
9 april 2018 om 17:56 #770969Alex his clutch was also tested over 100km/u. And he drove close to a 100 for a rather long time. But all of the sudden it gave way..
Anyhow, you’ve been warned, it’s up to you whether you take the advise or keep on trusting your stock clutch.
That being said, it’s fun to watch how happy you are when you drive around. Your face says it all 😀

This is the next Project after sand blasting 🙂so today i modified my clutch, now it comes 10mm more to the front and the belt runs more straight.
And i milled some stuff away so i come down from 140 gramm per piece to finaly 93 gramm each.
The new bell also will be 10mm shorter like on the picture.I just calculated that a coupling jaw loaded with 140 grams at 10,000 rpm waights 768kg on the bell and one with 100 grams only 548kg. these are 200kg less whoop whoop.

The braking point is now further away. You have strong legs, and I thingt thay can whitstand a pressure of 548kg I dont know if you can say the same for your weaker parts.

I would not use the word anoying if people warn me for something, but okay.
You want to find out the hard way what cast iron is I guess.
But let me make myself clear. You not gonna drive the Vct with a cast iron housing. Cause I drove behind VespaAvanti when his housing exploded and parts were all around me and I was lucky not to get hit.
So its dangerous for other drivers too.

BUTif you tell me that im not allowed to participate the VCT with the cast bell i have to ask me if the other guys also know that and will this be a new rule for everyone or just for me?
i think this is a really nice idea because safety is everything and we all want to have fun.Im serious that im not the one with the fastest turning clutch, because everyone who drives same fast or almost as me and he got a shorter transmission than me like 10,5 or shorter is a more dangerous problem because his clutch is turning with higher rpm.
if you tell me that im the only one with that regulation than im serious a little bit pissed of, because you cant only regulate me and no other one.
And i dont want to participate with a racing machine! its still a tourer and not like other guys do.So when you think that these clutches (which one exact or every original???) are that dangerous than everyone has to be banned with a bell like that or dont you think so?

and now back to topic:
i calculated a new shorter bell for me which will be made of a special sort of steel and not the C40 crap.

I a,m constantly surpriced about how quik you you work an think.And if there is a little discussion I would like to point out, that it is inportant that every one takes responsebillety for there emotions. Emotions are in us, and others only touch them.
It is up to us to deal with this ourselves and not to explode to others. And it is not the intention to change the other person in suths a way, that you don,t have to feel your emotions anymore.I think every one, has the need to be save, and everybody wants the other to be save to.

I do think you have a valid point saying nobody should drive the VCT (or any other tour) with an original clutch. Although I believe it’s only a problem on powerful setups. But saying one person can drive with it and the other can’t is just not fair and would raise the question when exactly a setup is powerful and has to drive with a reinforced clutch.
But…. That brings up a problem for me, I don’t have a reinforced clutch (jet). So would you consider making and selling more of those (but normal sized) clutches? And how much would you charge?
