fatwreck :
The hardtail made it too rough of a ride. Every crack in the road felt like it would shutter through the frame. I enjoy riding it much more now. I’m glad I was able to at least find shocks that were short enough…they allowed me to keep the height where I wanted it.That’s why some bikers prefer the hardtail 😉 it’s like a giant vibrator :lol and if you see what some bikers look like you know that’s the only thing their getting =)

The bike definitely isn’t as fast as I would like it to be. 61 km/hr is where I have GPS’d it so far. It just seems like the engine could rev higher, but it won’t. I’m up for any tuning suggestions if you guys have them.
My Puch smokes this thing, but then again it has a 20mm carb vs. the 13mm on the Bravo.
a lot of people here are driving faster than 61 Km/h with a 13mm carb. That should not be an issue. What engine and gear setup do you have?:!
17 november 2008 om 16:25 #147728that’s one bad ass bravo! but what’s up with the gastank? isn’t it painted yet?
17 november 2008 om 16:28 #147729Look closer;)

17 november 2008 om 16:32 #147730I believe there are skulls painted on it, smoke-style (your pictures are a bit small, so we can’t really see it)
Edit: oh Edjuh clears it up for me :p
by the way, is this you?? =) hahaha

Thanks for the compliments everyone. 😀The engine has 65cc Polini that has been matched to the case. I didn’t drill out the intake though, and I now know that I should have. It has a 13.13 dellorto carb and malossi air filter. I plan to buy the malossi variator soon, but I think that is all I will really spend on this build for a while.
I know the Polini pipe I have is a “piece of shit”, but I haven’t found another pipe that I am super happy with. I would love the Proma Cirucit. Anybody have one they want to sell me?! 😉 I know they don’t make them anymore, but I’m sure they are out there. If not, what other suggestions do you have? I’d like to have a good mid-high range pipe.
Here are the answers to your lack of speed. The top one should do fine though. Or get a custom pipe, that would be sweet.
ps. I like your style!
12 december 2008 om 17:50 #147742The guy in the wookie costume isn’t me. He goes by “Responsible Jon”. It was pretty funny to watch him ride around in that during a rally.
I got the side covers painted and put on. I had to wait for a long time to get the screws I needed.
Anyone know where I can get the “Bravo” logos?
12 december 2008 om 18:05 #147743waw, that gas-tank is awesome 😀 did you airbrushed that?
12 december 2008 om 18:08 #147744Wow that looks kick ass!
