Comparing Dr Evo and Malossi DEPS?

So, I´m building a dragracing SuperBravo, the displacement is limited to 70 cc´s so 46 mm cylinders are out of the question.
The race distance is only 75 meters so the torque will be important.

Both will be fed by a reed valve side intake and I will use a 19 mm carb to keep up the velocity in the intake, hopefully winning some torque that way.

I have bought a Polin Top One advised to be a good setup for a torque engine.

I will also make a light flywheel and remove the cooling fan fins in order to gain some power.

At the moment I have two cylinders in my hands and like to know your expectations about the performance.
One is a Dr Evo and the other one is a Malossi DEPS, both with the 43 millimeter bore.
Of course the carter will be ported to meet both cylinders needs so thatdemand can be left.

Which cylinder do you expect will deliver the best acceleration given the facts above?

Do you suggest any improvements in the setup?

the deps will.
also, reed valve’s dont have side intakes.
and because the ports for a normal cilinder are very small in a reedvalve and it has one huge port at te top for the deps the deps will probably run better

@supersi: reedvalve betekend menbraam, dus een zij inlaat met membraam. @coolvette: supersi was confused with the malossi reedvalve engine.

A well ported/raised/tuned DR evo will do the trick.
