Ciao Kickstart Help!

Hello!
I recently got some kickstart parts and I need some help getting it all together and running. I’ve used this forum post to help me (Kickstart Overview) however i still need some help as i’m missing some parts. here’s what i have:

i do not have the parts for the pedal assembly or the chain.
here are my questions.

can somebody break down how the spring hooks up exactly? i’m asking this as i will most likely need to make my own or figure something else that will work.

the part that hooks to the engine that has the teeth on it to hook the chain up to, it’s only supposed to turn very slightly as it moves towards the engine to engage the crank, correct?

i can get the chain from fred at moparts, so that’s no problem.

it has 2pedals,the axle,the spring en the sprocket,so everything from the picture

Verwittigd man is er 2 waard: pas op met betalingen van ginder via paypal.. Je krijgt het geld, en dan stuur je het op.. En na 3 weken blijkt dan dat het geld van een niet-bestaand of ongeldig bankaccount verstuurd is, en is je geld weer van je bankrekening, en ben je ook nog eens je onderdelen kwijt..

Ik zeg het maar!

i’ve got another question.

i was putting a cylinder and piston on the kickstart crank and the hole in the conrod is too big…even for my 12 pin piston.

does the kickstart crank come with a needle bearing? which would end up making it a 10 pin (as 10 pin is much more common in europe and 12 pin is more common in the united states)?

Yes is 10 pin comes with a needle bearing, so i think that is ur problem.

so i was able to find a NOS 10 pin piston here in the united states, and then i bought a 10mm needle bearing that fits nicely around the piston pin, however it still doesn’t fit in my conrod, the needle bearing is about 1 mm too big! i don’t understand how this could be. here is the needle bearing i bought: 10mm Doppler Needle Bearing

i’ll take some photos today and post em up, even though it’s pretty obvious that it doesn’t fit, but maybe you guys have seen a conrod like this before and have an answer for me. thanks!

as you can see the needles are on the outside instead of sunk in it like yours. that’s why yours is to small 😉
