      Hello

Im pretty sure I have a crack in my intake, because my ciao suddenly have a very high idle. I also checked it with starting gas(not sure if it is called starting gas in english) and it seems to be the intake.

Anyways, is it a good ide to fix it with Chemical metal?

It depends on wich side of the inlet you are putting it.
Putting it on the inside doesn’t seem to be a very good idea,
because inventually it will get loose and end up in your cilinder.

A picture may indeed help a lot.
Also I would like to know if your nylon bush (or something like that) is in a good state.

If the inlet is cracked really bad, the easyest solution is to buy a new carter.

Well, I guess the problem with the high idle was not the intake, because it looks fine. Pic on the intake:

So now I have i new question, what could be the problem with the high idle? All the gaskets looked fine to, but of course im going to change them all. But its wierd, when I sprayed with starting gas on the intake the idle bacame lower..

Hope u all understand my problem.

what is the state of your nylon bush that is on your inlet/carb?
because if it’s in a bad condition it’s leaking.
also, it could be a problem when your carb. is not pushed on the inlet far enough.
i guess you probably have to check the area around your inlet and carb.
