cant get into powerband on pipe

Hey guys im new here but im running a vespa si with malossi cases with 20mm phbg malossi varriator 70cc polini kit simonini cdi malossi race crank and a simonini calibratta which i just got but for the life of me i cant get into the power band on the pipe if you can help me at all on what i need to do that would be awesome is there some kind of cool trick to get into it or is this pipe just really finicky.

The calibrata performs best on 80cc, not 70cc. That might be a problem…

What’s you variator setup? Clutch spring, rolls etc.? I’d think you’d need lighter rolls.

Do you have the 43 or the 46mm polini? The pipe is quite good I believe and it works best with more cc’s, but this setup should be working.

I have the yellow spring and 3 6.6 weights and 3 3.5 weights in there now
