De budget beun tjoener: geen geld is te duur of het werkt nog niet
Link naar Mijn collectie / Projecten.1 juli 2010 om 20:33 #145789so.. hup hup, ready for some progress?? or will it stop here 🙁
1 juli 2010 om 21:36 #145666Looks like an Drivebelt for a car, distributieriem in het Nl. Nice collectors item. Have some fun with it!
2 juli 2010 om 00:39 #145790But special thing about this crank was that it is a kick crank

(at least vincent was saying that it was very rare)

so.. hup hup, ready for some progress?? or will it stop here 🙁hehehe, no, will not stop here. I want to rework a Ciao frame to implement the 2-gear setup.
As the gear ratio is very short combined with the small diameter drive belt rolle on krukas I will need to find a solution for a rolle with bigger diameter like 70mm to 75mm.
Any suggestions how to make a front rolle with 70mm to 75mm outer diameter are welcome.
3 juli 2010 om 12:56 #145793I think that 50/60 mm will be large enough, 70mm is rather big for this. With that you almost are creating a 1-on-1 distribution.
(Maybe you can use a distribution Pulley of some kind from a car to make a new pulley.)
I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...3 juli 2010 om 12:59 #145794What type of belt is it, it looks like it has rounded teeth? Or is it just a plain simple AT(10) belt?

If it is just a AT belt finding pulley’s is very easy, just google.

Home made engine dyno3 juli 2010 om 13:46 #145795mmmh, I don’t think that 50mm to 60mm is large enough.
The status now is: 50mm on krukas and 95mm on gearbox. The gear box ratio in second gear is 9,5:1.
After my knowledge about mono ratios I will need a krukas to back wheel turn ratio between 10 (krukas): 1 (backwheel turns)
and 12:1 .With a 65mm clutch bell, a 83mm pulley and 8,5:1 gear box ratio it will become 10,5:1 (Krukas:backwheel turns)
After that I will need about 70mm to 75mm on krukas to come in region of 11:1 (Krukas:backwheel turns).
Arvid, yes, it is a belt with rounded teeth. Thanks for link
3 juli 2010 om 14:47 #145796Ok, my 2-speed had a 35mm front pulley and a 95 on gearbox, that’s why i thought it would be to much.
Mine ran 60/65 with a 41mm DR, tuned engine, 13/13 and a homoet exhaust.I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...3 juli 2010 om 14:55 #145797Really, 35mm? That’s small :lol My 2-speed is 50 / 95 like Piet’s.
I’m getting rid of the original belt drive and creating a new system for it. This will involve a normal V shaped drive belt and adjustable front pulley, so you can “tune” your transmission to your engine.
Unfortunately, I made a start on this project, but it will probably take a few more years to finish it 🙁 Because I’m always working on 10 things at once.3 juli 2010 om 14:57 #145798Tonni,wow, did you get problems with your clutch? Was it slipping?
Was your second gear ratio also 9,5:1 ?
EDIT: Fons, hahaha, that’s the same like me. I also have too many ideas and projects ongoing.:D
3 juli 2010 om 16:00 #145799haha owkay Piet..
Good luck eh!
