Hello everybody,

unfortunately my dutch is not good enough to write properly, therefore I want to switch to english.
Reading and talking in dutch is quite OK for me I suppose, but as said, writing is the problem for me.
Anyway, I hope its OK for you guys.

My name is Bernd, I’m from Kleve, Germany and I’m 35 years old. Some 20 Years ago I got my first
moped, the famous Vespa Ciao. I was very much into it, and spent a lot of time in riding, tuning and
reparing it. I’ve got a lot of great memories back from those days.

Until last summer I almost forgot about that, and the fun it was at that time. But when my best friend, I know him since the ciao days, came up with the stories from then, I found myself ending up in the web searching for a forum for the Vespa ciao. And then I found vespa-ciao.nl.

Immeadiately the interest came up again in a big way, leading to “a few” new toys:

Vespa Ciao V40 from 1973, unrestored and in great conditon. Very rare in Germany!
Vespy Ciao “Snoor” from 1990, very bad condition, currently on the way to get going again.
Vespa Super Bravo, just picked up last week, some work to do, will soon be ridden by my girl friend 🙂

By the way: Also my friend bought a Vespa Moped recently, a Bravo, and we enjoyed ourselves since then a few times riding our Vespas! It was great fun!
