basicly I finished my setup for the VCT09:D
This will be a red Ciao from 1971 in original painting.
Combined with a Kick block matched to a 42mm Pinasco Alu black cylinder kit. The krukas is tuned after Arvid calculation and the exhaust at the moment is a Gianelli;)
All this is driving with mono ratio. Nice for long tours like the VCT8)

18 januari 2009 om 19:46 #436501Nice ciao piet 🙂
See u on the tour!
18 januari 2009 om 19:50 #436503Maybe you should put a pully 70 on it? I think its a little better for your engine, and comfortable for yourself, then you dont drill of your moped when you’re riding the VCT’09 =)
But it’s a nice ciao, very oldschool 😀
and nice setup 🙂18 januari 2009 om 20:32 #436506i realy like tis moped ralph:D
i’m curious about how the Pinasco 42mm Drives on pully?? because in my own experience with vario she’s quite Fast:D
and is it an standart kickengine or tuned? and what about the crankshaft?
Grtz Mike
Mike18 januari 2009 om 21:32 #436511Supersweet looking teil, almost as nice as your grey 19″er, once again you pulled it off : -)
However i do have to move it to perso’s since there is no progress, just a finished project.
19 januari 2009 om 09:07 #436525Thanks for your comments, moves down like oil (as we say):bier
@ PoliniCitta: yes I thought so, the RPM’s are raising higher and higher the longer I drive. At the moment I’m driving with a 10,5er gear ratio 65mm clutch bell and 80mm pully. I think I will change the gearbox to 8,5er ratio. Don’t need to buy a new v-belt:D
@ Mike: the Kick block is matched to the cylinder ports, inlet I didn’t touch and I tuned the kick kruk after the calculation from Arvid.
I bought that cylinder because yours were so fast on the last tour. That was a good reputation

19 januari 2009 om 09:32 #436526If I where you i would leave that 65mm clutch bell on your ciao, it improves efficientcy in your drivetrain and will save your v-belt because the belt is not bended as much as a normal 50mm clutch bell does.
Nice Ciao by the way

Home made engine dyno2 april 2009 om 09:00 #438812so, short update.
fixed a Pinasco fly wheel and the fork dampers now.
The test drive was great the Pinasco wheel makes the engine much more aggressive and direct. Drive feeling with the dampers makes also great fun 😀

Also got a Mix olietank. Like to use that as an additional gasoline tank for the tour. Need to find a place to fix the tank now:o
2 april 2009 om 10:25 #438813nice, the dempers give alot more stability.
cant you mount the olietank on the bagagedrager?2 april 2009 om 10:35 #438814I’ve tried to fix it between bagagedrager and rear fender but there is not enough space. If I put it on the bagagedrager I can not put other things like tent, sleepsack…. on it.:'(
2 april 2009 om 11:58 #438816doesnt it fit under the bagagedrager above your frontwheel?, i know you will be less stable, but i think it would fit.
2 april 2009 om 13:18 #438818hey docs, that is a great idea.

just tried it and it fits=)

maybe it will be not so unstable as the tank is not so big. Does anybody know the volume what fits into that tank?
2 april 2009 om 13:25 #438819Awsome!
Howmany vepa’s do you have :O, i have seen some already but it must be a complete load!
I think its 1.5 L in the oil tank. at least somewhere around that 😉2 april 2009 om 15:05 #438821
n!ck*sAwsome piet,
