but i think you´ll like to see this, perhaps anybody here can do the thread into the right board…
but now to the story 😉
since 1 year i had a ciao with a 72ccm polini on a speed engine, thist summer it gets a variomatik and a technigas tek exhaust, she drives really good, but it wasnt enaugh so i think to myself how to get faster, more extreme & this for not much money!
one day i stand in my garage and saw my ciao “moped” (40kmh legal) engine and i get the idea to build a 2 engine ciao,and i did 🙂
i dont spend any money to this projekt because i had lots of ciao parts (engines/carbs and every other thing)
first i want to stay with the variomatik but its too difficult for the beginning, so i build it onto mono with an moped gearbox…
perhaps anyday i lift it up to vario, we´ll see!too much talking, here are the pic´s (its not ready but on the best way to that, think it could start tomorrow!)

dat is het hem net als je het slim aanpakt.
je legt onder het onderste blok een lekker grote poulie zodat hij lekker op toeren komt.
op het bovenste blokje een dikke 70 of 80cc met ene kleine poulie.
als je met die grote poulie toeren gaat maken dus op topsnelheid gaat , geef je met het bovenste dikke blok beetj gas mee.
om op gang te komen zonder teveeelmoeite want dat lukt normaal neit mer kleine poulie.
je zorgt dat je onder helemaalop top zit.
je draait het dikke blok met kleine poulie helemaal open dat stroomt door naar top wat je normaal niet goed haalt.
en je laat het gas van het onderste blok los.
RebelZover ik weet he moeten ze beiden gelijk lopen (scheelt niet op een beetje power.)
Maar je kan niet 1 70cc pakken en 1 50cc.dan draait die 70 toch veel vaker die poulie rond slaat ie die andere snaar gewoon kapot.

because the engines have different powers, the moped engine shouldnd turn as high as the speedengine
we will see how it works, i will make a first start video and some more 😉

Because if 1 enginge has more power that poulie will go faster and the other enginge wil go way to high in “touren” so that would’t be good.
I think you should take 2 of the same kind enginges with maxed .5pk diffrence
I like the idea, perhaps I’m gonna make my own two engine ciao sometimes.
But I think I’ll use two of the same engines both with a very small puly.of je zet op iedere pully een vrijwiel.
het blok wat het snelste draait, doet dan zijn werk……….maar dan draait het snelste blok dus altijd :p hehe ken je dus net zo goed 1 blok erop doen
but if one engine is broken you still have the other one, so you have one for back up:P:D
edit : how are you going to do it with your exhaust?
Does it work? I tink not. Your smaller engine will slow down your polini engine.
