As you may have seen I´m building a sprint race from a SuperBravo.
The intention is to build a light but fast, small displacement machine as the rules say maximum 70 cc.
Becauce of that I will stay with a modified DrEvo cylinder and a PVL ignition.
You can see more about the machine if you look here and navigate on:
www.CamaroSS.seI just recieved the frame from the painter and have just began the assembly.
Here you see some pictures of it:

As you may see I have put on a new point of where to bolt the engine, 75 millimeters moved backwards.
On one picture you can see the bracket that will replace the rear suspension, just to keep things in place. The assembly moves on and I will update this with pictures as the assembly goes on.
10 april 2012 om 11:41 #280466I definitely like the blue. Also the first photo on your given link, I like from the Superbravo. More black then red, instead off what you see most times.
10 april 2012 om 15:57 #282470I love this collor to.

Currious to see the end of this project.

Which exhaust are you going to use?10 april 2012 om 18:21 #280217Now that’s what I call babyblue! Awsome collor!
10 april 2012 om 19:36 #280281Thank ya´ all for the response.
I like the color too, it even turned out better than expected, thanks to the painter.I have two exhaust that I will try and see what works the best for my setup.
One is a Polini Top One and the other one is a Simonini Proline. The setup in the engine is a tuned DrEvo 43 (because I can´t pass 70 true cc´s) a reed valve side intake and a 19 mm PHBG
and the PVL ignition wich I expect will gain the throttle response a lot.10 april 2012 om 19:47 #280428how are you going to cool your cylinder then?? Are you going to make de cylinder liquid cooled?? And nice color by te way!

how are you going to cool your cylinder then?? Are you going to make de cylinder liquid cooled?? And nice color by te way!The race distance is very short, only 75 meters, and I will put scoops on to send oncoming air towards the cylinder so I expect that to be enough.
Time will tell if I´m right or not.
10 april 2012 om 20:21 #280899nice blue collor.
i love this project.
i follow this special bravo.;)greets arvid13690
Tis altied moar eem!12 april 2012 om 04:05 #278284The assembly goes on, here from the side where you can see the PVL ignition.
I made the hole large enough to give space for adjustment with no clearance issues:

The ignition is well clear from the holder:

I will have some problems wil my footpegs thou…:con

I think I will find another solution to this.
12 april 2012 om 05:33 #278214prehaps its possible to fit some ´kick´ pedals on there pointing backwards meaning youre feet will go a bit more to the read 🙂
12 april 2012 om 11:01 #27909112 april 2012 om 11:38 #279130May i ask, what sort of pvl ignition is that? (of what bike) And does it already run?:O
Because i want to hear it 😛
12 april 2012 om 13:39 #279056DR-felnny, thanks for your suggestion, that may be my choice, we´ll see in some weeks.
beunhaaz, my ignition doesn´t come from a specific bike, it´s components chosen in cooperation with a swedish supplier of those parts.
The list looks like this:Magnet/baseplate: 1063
CDI/ignitioncoil: 105458
Rotor: 940This is not a direct fit, it takes some work to make it fit, the critical part is to machine the rotor with correct angle, 5,5 degrees, and to the correct depth as it is critical.
Have a look here, even thou it´s in swedish you may get the idea: http://www.camaross.se/PVL-ignition.htm
If you hover over the pictures you can see some comments in english, at least over some of the pictures.
All of the pictures will open upp bigger if you clic on them.
I will update my site soon but my focus right now is to get the machine ready to run. It´s not yet started so I haven´t heard it but I´m hopful it will run…;)
2 mei 2012 om 03:17 #267457Now the blue one is in one piece:

If you want some more pic´s you can find them here: http://www.camaross.se/Slutmontering.htm
I have made some comments in english that will be visible if you move the marker over the pictures.
Now it´s test n´tune this week and next week, on the 12´th of May I intend to race it, we´ll see if I´ll make it… -
