I bought one Cpm-01 and install it. When i start the engine it runs smooth. While i am driving it it goes like that: 1minute working perfectly, then 1 minute runs like crap. And repeats…The timing of spark isn’t right (I think). On my way home it was running like i described and suddenly the engine stops and i doesn’t start again. I Putted out the capacitor and the other thing (i don’t know how to say in english) I don’t know what would be wrong.
PLease help.Did the engine ran smooth with contact points?
And what is the color of your sparker?The engine wasn’t running smooth. that’s why i changed to CP. Betwen the electrodes there was spark. And the timing of spark was delayed. I never found the cause of that so i switched to CP. And that doesn’t work too. The spark is almost black because the Malossi 63ccm is new. INstead of making 3,5% mix of oil, I have bigger jet.
I think it’s not about your timings if u say the sparkplug is black.
Lower your jet and mix normal 1/45-1/50 because your Sparkplug can stop sparking if you mix too much.

Replace it and you´ll probably cure the problem.
@robinvs ok. Thanks. Ill try and report. I am mixing 2% now. I said in thr post that i didn’t want to mix mor oil. So i put bigger jet.
@colvete i already tryed to change 6 capacitors. I was trying to fix that problem for 8 months. I had enough. So i tryed that.I had this problem when i had contact points.
Or is this okay? I had minor problem when this was happening like in this video.

When he turns camera to engine you can hear beeping or something like that. Is that okay?
