      Hi guys.

I have just bougth my frist Veasp Bravo 1982.
This one has a vario, and I did change it to a Malossi one.
I have one question: The belt is only going half way up in the variator?
Souldn’t it go all the way up to the top?

      EDIT: Found the fault 😀
It was the rear pulley spring that was faulty.
You can see that one of the coils is larger then the others.
This “turn” did block the rear pulley.

Please stop testing the variomatic with the wheel running freely!!! The clutchbell can explode if you are testing like this.

        What is your complete setup?

All is standard, no modifiaction except from the Malossi variator.
Do I need to change the rear pulley?

You can,t change the rear pully.

            maybe you need bigger rolls.

you`ll need some 7/8.5 gram rolls in your CVT

De budget beun tjoener: geen geld is te duur of het werkt nog niet

It wont help with heavy rollers as the rear pully don’t open more.
The variator is “gearing” like it’s supposed to do, untill the belt comes half way up.
The engine keep on rewing further but the gearing is stuck like this. 1/2 way up in the variator.
Then the belt can’t go up any more because of the rear pulley.
Are there any modifications I can do the rear pulley?

EDIT: Found the fault, see first post.
