9 april 2011 om 09:35 #148148Wow, a delivery from sprocatti, very special : -) How long exactly have you waited?
What’s the price like compaired to the simonini carters?
Which cylinder will you mount?
9 april 2011 om 09:43 #147855I think he have wait almost 10 Year:D
9 april 2011 om 10:08 #147854crappy finishings at the transfers in the crankcase…
Apart from that; VERY NICE!
What will be the complete setup with these crankcase?
Even the inlet in the carters (last picture) isn’t milled straight on top…9 april 2011 om 10:45 #147693That,s VERY nice ralf

If you wanna sell one in the future than im your buyer
😀
But do you have the carters from ebay or did you orderd by sprocatti self?9 april 2011 om 10:49 #147694VERY nice carters 8)
It’s a shame they did not finish the kickstart part. But i believe that it’s not a problem for you :D:D
9 april 2011 om 11:46 #148150If you take in consideration that you ordered them the week after Barry got his engine, the delivery time is acceptable..:D
But without the BS: they sure are interesting pieces!!
(I still think it’s a shame they are not producing the ‘normal’ 3-pin carters anymore, aspecially the rotodisc variant..)
I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...9 april 2011 om 13:18 #148151Yes, it’s ordered direct from Sprocatti. Waiting time is since end of Jan/11.
That is the link:
http://www.sprocatti-motori.com/Carter_lamellare.htmRegarding cylinder I’m not sure so far. Need some inspiriations. Also about the ignition, should be a inner rotor ignition.
Any suggestions or experiences from your side are welcome.:D
9 april 2011 om 13:30 #148153Suggestion: Sell it to me! 😛

That is because they are made for a 4p cylinder. When you’ll google for a 4p cylinder you’ll see why it has this shape 😉

cilinderhemd stays round, even when you have 4 studs.. I have several mopeds, those crankcases look just really rude and not very well finished in my eyes.. I might be wrong offcourse
