Hi,
I have a spare saddle for newer style Ciaos that I would, if possible, like to fit on an old Ciao P frame. I have seen others do this but not sure how as they have different types of attachment, and the saddle posts have slightly different dimensions. They are both square but the new style saddle post is not as wide. Do you guys have any tips?

I’m not sure, but maybe it’s possible to just switch the covers?
Or maybe you are able to detach the post from the seat part and switch them?I really haven’t looked into it but maybe it helps.
Indeed, just swap the deck. That’s what I did. Grease the 3 rubber stops underneath the saddle that hold the deck and gently pull them out.
