Hello and welcome to our forum! I changed the topic title to small letters ;).

I really like your video :). I think I will whatch it one more time tonight because i like the way you talk about your “problem” 🙂

        1. You need the “ring met opstaande rand” between the cluth and the flywheel. see: http://www.jmpbonderdelen.nl/vespa-ciao-si/motordelen/koppeling/koppelingsring-citta-ciao.html

2.The pads inside the clutch bell are supposed to be the other way round.

        3. The belt must me tensioned, because the rear wheel turns the belt. If the belt is not tensioned it will not grab on the clutch bell.

        4. The 3 clutch pads are worn.

        5. The plate you mount at the end might be damaged, replace it when possible.

        6. Shoot us some more video’s 🙂

The clutch shall not engage yet, it’s the starter “shoes” the must engage first.
Thats the two “shoes” inside the clutch.
If you have dismantle them, you probably have installed them the wrong way around.
I did the same on mine. Try to install them 180° and try again.

Edit: From the video the shoes looks like they are installed the correct way around.

hero on camera, love it 🙂 wilk explanned your problem. Maybe its easiest to buy a complete new clutch, http://www.jmpbonderdelen.nl/citta-onderdelen/motordelen/koppeling/koppeling-compleet-citta-ciao.html

I think i’ve already seen this video on mopedarmy? But as Wilk already explained. Fixx al of these problems and don’t forget all the other plastic cooling parts for your motor. You already mentioned this yourself. With the two starterclutchpads turned this way it will not grap on to your clutch. Also get a new right size belt. With the one on the video starting the moped will be difficult.

Although the 3 clutchpads looks a little wornout, these might go on for many more miles.
Point 1 till 3 from Wilk are the most importand to fixx first.

Nice vid :thumb, I told it overhere before, if it is the original clutch from 1978 than whatch out. They are full of asbestos.

Asbesto particles work like a fishing hook, once inhaled it will never leave you lungs again, so please dont rub the clutch (or brake) linning with you fingers and use proper protection.

Asbestos where banned in 1995, so new (not NOS) parts should be asbestos free.

How small are asbestos? well unfortunatly verry small:
