would be interesting to know with what grinding tools you guys grind the Nikasil coating in cylinders.
I use a compressor with a compressor grinder (capable off 20.000 rpm) and high quality grinding bits a 25 euro ps.
yes, I think so, high speed and low pressure on the grinder.
But are you using soft or hard grinders? Or small millers?
i did use just a dremel with the purpel grinding stone on my 50cc eurocilindro at high rpm, it worked great.
they just wear out real fast on high rpm.Piet30 :

First use hard and than for the finish soft:)
