I found a Selettra inner rotor ignition what is a analog one.

As I have not much experience on inner rotor ignitions, are they all analog or are some digital?

If yes, what is the difference of analog and digital?

Are there experiences with the Selettra analog inner rotor ignition?

Analog means that the curve of the pulse is stepless and can have any value.

Digital means that the curve is classified in little parts with a fixed value done by a chip.
Because of the fixed values it is posible to alter the curve with software(laptop) or a other chip for better ignition pulse or a pre-post-ignition. Ore to read out the ignitionmap done in a race ore sprint.

With a analog ignition you have only the groundplate to alter the pre or post ignition.

Edit : found a possible solution to regulate the ignition of a HPI also a analog pulse.
