Does the polini 43mm works with speedengine?

      I have already bought,

      Polini 43mm
      Polini speed engine
      Polini top one

I have read a bit online and some claim that the Polini 43mm does not work with speedengine? is this true? or I can happily mount my things and run without problems?

      sorry for bad english.

i drive whit that exact setup:)

for me personal it’s an pretty good setup:) the cilinder fits perfect on a speedengine:thumb

        it has enough power and speed. ( 75 – 80 kmh )

          thanks!!!

are you sure there is no problem with that is about one millimeter gap between the cylinder skirt and the block?

if it would be difficult to understand what I mean, I can send a picture.

          sorry for bad english

you have to use gaskets to make it air-tight. when you dont use any gaskets you will lose compression. buy some gaskets online and you will be ready to go i guess!
the setup should run just fine, good luck!

              Hey!

I mean inside the block. I have gaskets. 🙂

I use a piece of paper to show.

This is how 46mm cylinder would look like mounted. (no spaces between the cylinder skirt and blocks. there is only space where the fuel will be traveling.)

and this is how it would look like with Polini 43mm cylinder. there is a gap all the way around the cylinder skirt. will this cause problems?

Jabo do you mean the difference between your carter and the cilinder?
Your 43mm cilinder wil stay in place because the three studs in the carter.
When everything is bolted together and the nuts are screwed firmly in place.
The engine wil be air tight and vibration free because,
the piston will slide the cilinder because it has two pistonrings.
My opinion jugded on mister Mike is that it is save, and you do not cope with any performance loss.

carter means engineblock if the story is not clear

                      It’s completely normal!

The Polini cases are already bored, so that you can mount 43+ cyilinders, like 46 and 47 cylinders! Named ”80cc”
Those cyilinders have a skirt of 50 millimeter..
And the 43 cylinders have a skirt diameter of 46 millimeter 😉

                      So, no problem 😉

                        yes.

was afraid that the studs was not enough, and that the engine block would be in contact with the cylinder skirt for the stabilization of the cylinder. or something like that.

                        thanks for the help! appreciated!

There won’t be any problem fitting/running this thermic kit on this housing 😉

                          Enojy mounting it 😉

Only after you completed assembling the engine 😀
