:: Sprocatti disc mounting
-
Does anybody know how I mount the disc compared to the piston ?
When the piston is down I guess the disk should be at the back(open) and when it is up it should be closed ?
I have no idea but I have a sprocatti carter at home..

Its the same as an original motor so when the piston goes up the inlet opens and when it goes down the inlet closes.
The disc fits the hexagonal bolt so does that mean you have 6 positions in which you can mount the disc?
Piston @ TDC

Piston @ BDC

This is correct, only dont forget you can ’turn’ ( Mount it in a difrent angle. ) the hexagonal bolt before mounting it on the cranck.
Actuly i hope to see the correct answer in this topic, cause i also have to deal with this some time on my 3 stud rotating carter..
Thank you guys for answers 🙂
