i have just registered myself as a user from the uk.

I would advise google chrome, it has build-in translation 🙂
Dutch is splintered into allot of street dialect, so don’t expect quality translation.
Google translate is the most sufficient translator in my opinion.
To get the main point of a complete message.
Technical translations can be harder to achieve hundred percent.
Vertalen.nu will get you a wider perspective of words in several explanations.
If you need help I suppose there are already several candidates.
