Hi, is there an advantage in using the red Malossi clutch pressure spring?
So far I’m using the yellow Malossi spring. With what setup could a red spring make sense?the red spring is commonly used on very powerfull setups, such as side intakes with a 46mm cylinder.
in fact, the red spring is not even suitable for evolution engines with a 43mm cylinder. just to give you an idea of how powerfull the setup has to be in combination with that red spring.
in conclusion, your current setup is definitely suitable for the red spring.

I’m asking for my JuiorPiet, his setup is a Polini EVO, 46mm Pinasco black, 19mm carb and Calibrata.
Would it be an advantage to use the red spring, or would a yellow spring be more comfortable in daily use?Even for Simo side intakes with 46mm cylinder the red Malossi spring is too strong. I’m using the yellow one.
