Hi, does somebody have bad experiences with the CIF 9,5:1 gear inserts?
Why you ask, problems?
Mine is running smooth till now, only thing i noticed is the rattle sound it makes when i drive at higher speed and close the throttle..
I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...Well I heard and read here that those CIF dont run smooth in differnt cases because of the origional ratio for example:
IF you had a 1:11,5 ratio it doesnt run smooth with a 1:9,5
BUT when you had a 1:13 ratio it does run smooth with a 1:9,5because Dokter Motor had some rub off on the teeth.
He is thinking that the hardening or matriel of the insertes was not ok.Pictures from dokter motor his cif gearings

Fortunatly you can use an original piaggio 11-tooth axle with this 1:9,5 set also.
But it is not the quality you expect for the price..My long axle is rusting, which also gives an indication of the material used..
I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...I’ve had the same problem with my CIF 1:9,5 long axle.
Now i’m using an original 1:10,5 axle, it also has 10 teeth and works fine.
