Hi!
I just got a 1984 SI 50cc.
Is the owner and/or service manual available for download on the web?
or some exploded drawings?The pedals won’t engage as there is something that’s broken in the rear hub, so I need to see how it’s supposed to look. And what’s the best on-line resource for parts? I can only find tuning-pars, wich is great, but i have 2 geared Vespas i need to finish before i can start to waste money on tuning the SI 😉

For your pedal-problem: press the lever on the rear hub down and turn the pedals at the same time.
A button will pop out and you can use your pedals
If that doesn’t work you can try to pull it out by hand, or spray it with lubricant.
When nothing works, you’ll probably have to open the hub to see if something’s broken.Hi
thanks alot, but the problem is that the, in a lock of a better word, “rear sprocket” (free wheel sprocket?) for the chain is broken. the bearing is shot (balls falling out etc.), but i cant see if a new one would solve the problem, or if there is some more stuff inside the hub that could cause problems.
ps. my new moped:
that freewheel is the same as a bmx bike’s freewheel. you can get a new one at a bicycle shop.
