Hey,
I have tried to fix the side stand from JMPB in combination with my Kick engine drive. Fixing the stand was ok, no prob.
But after that I couldn’t start the engine with the Kick pedals as the left pedal arm was bumping against the side stand.:((Are some of you driving a Kick engine with side stand? How did you solve that problem?

I’ve destroyed 😉 my side stand and welded it again, just the way i liked it 😉
if you make a picture of it i can try to explain what you have to do…
My kick pedals bump against my plastic screens, side stand, just miss my exhaust and they don’t spring backwards because the chain interfers with my right side screen 8). So be creative, and you’ll find a solution.(I hope I will find one to.)
I have a side stand and kickstart engine on my Ciao, and never had any problems … :con Works perfectly.
The axle does turn a bit difficult when the moped is resting on the side stand, but it still works. When it’s not on the stand, the axle can turn real easy, so I don’t know what causes your problem.

Mine is exactly the same 😉
i’ve cut it at the white line and welded it at the yellow line
so, today the sun was shining and I did some modifications on my side stand;)
First cutted the tube by some mm from the backside
Due to that the side stand comes closer to the frame by the distance of the cutted ring
Then put the cutted ring from the other side on the pedal arm to get the same length like before
Put kick pedal on and finished.
No bumping of kick pedal arm against side stand=)
=) Simple but effective. The sun was shining indeed, but also freezing cold. I expect one of these days to go ice surfing.
