Hey, I bought a Speed engine with the following 46mm cylinder. Is that a Polini cylinder?

Yes it is the 46mm Polini.
I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...
Yes this is the 46mm polini 😉 PM stands for ”Polini Motori”
Edit: haha you were just a few seconds faster tonni 😛

is this cylinder a racer or should I change it with a 43mm DR EVO ?
cu,Ralf
If you dont care about speed, and you like a fast boost then the polini cylinder is perfect!.
But I should change it with the 43mm dr evo, or the 43mm pinasco that I see in your setup.

yes I think so, I have the feeling that the 46mm and 46,5mm cylinders are not high RPM wonder. My 43mm Pinasco is a rocket compared to my 46,5mm Malossi.
Also I have one engine with the 43mm DR EVO what runs like hell.:bier

It’s a cylinder for lots of torque but the topspeed is also very good.
It’s a Polini quality cilinder and that means good 😀
The DR43 is nice at topspeed but the torque is less.

aha, I think bevore I separat the engine I will try how it runs with the Polioni cylinder first. Would the top speed be in the same range like with a DR EVO in that carter and the same setup?
cu,Ralf
The Polini is going faster

Don’t give him to much fuel and it will fly 😉

Much fuel & synthetic oil.If not….It will run too hot hot & loose perfomance very fast. The Malossi is much better & the Athena is the best.I speak for myself now.
