This is my 1969’s Ciao.
I want to celebrate the 20th anniversary of my engine that I called ‘VCDI 002’.
I’m sure someone already knows it…
these are the changes I've made on Piaggio's engine
This is the prototype engine. Sorry for bad quality pictures…
The ultimate engine's test:
In another test, with the right carburation, it has runs at 16200 rpm with the wheel free.

Engine case is Piaggio. I welded on it a Polini intake mainfold with reed valve for VESPA.
I welded other aluminuim addition also for change the engine case internal space and for seal the d.13 intake.The cilinder is an aluminium Polini 60cc with 3 exhaust ports, 6 transfer ports and detachable aluminium exhaust mainfold d.28mm (lathe made). I changed the dimensions of all the transfer and the exhaust ports.
All the changes are made by myself with files and mill cutter, only the welding was made by my friend.
